The coronavirus pandemic has caused unprecedented devastation throughout the world, with many countries in South Asia, including India and Pakistan, ravaged by a deadly second wave. With hospitals and health centres overwhelmed, businesses closed and food prices rocketing, many communities are struggling to cope.

The H.E.A.T. Foundation has responded by redoubling its effects in supporting its education centres and their communities. Working closely with local non-governmental organisations, H.E.A.T. volunteers have distributed food parcels and financial donations to those in need, while supporting our schools to implement preventive sanitary measures and online teaching. In the UK, our Ramadan Appeal generated crucial funds to support these communities and H.E.A.T. Foundation volunteers continue to fundraise to alleviate the impact of this crisis to those most at risk.
